Jorge Martin has etched his name into the history books by securing the 2024 MotoGP™ World Championship, while Francesco Bagnaia claimed the final victory of the season. After 20 Sprints and 19 Grand Prix, everything came down to the final race of the season at the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona, a weekend which held special significance beyond the action on the circuit as we went #RacingForValencia. It was a magical weekend for Jorge Martin (No. 89 Prima Pramac Racing), who was crowned the 2024 MotoGP™ World Champion and the first independent rider to clinch the title in the MotoGP™ era. The Spaniard crossed the line in third, and even with Francesco Bagnaia (No. 1 Ducati Lenovo Team) taking victory, it would still be high enough for Martin to be crowned Champion. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez (No. 93 Gresini Racing MotoGP™) claimed a strong second place, unable to match Bagnaia’s pace at the finish. Marc joined Bagnaia and Martin on an unforgettable podium after a phenomenal final Grand Prix. Watch the Race Highlights here(Thank you to MotoGP.com)

Editor's Note: This is our dearly departed billboard, which we had at Road America for several years. Peter gifted the phrase "America's National Park of Speed" to the track, which now uses it proudly in all of its communications. -WG
